Next WalkBear Brook Road and the Alexander Road crossing at Bear Brook Road/Vaughn Drive; Tuesday, May 13, 2008Please join us for the next "West Windsor Walks," scheduled for Tuesday, May 13th during the evening rush hour to examine the difficulties that pedestrians and bicyclists encounter along Bear Brook Road and at the crossing of Alexander Road at Bear Brook Road/Vaughn Drive. The walk will begin at the Estates of Princeton Junction, proceed along Bear Brook Road past the Windsor Haven Community and will end at the intersection of Bear Brook and Alexander Roads. Local residents and township officials are invited to participate in this walk and to help brainstorm about potential improvements and come up with a set of recommendations. Interested participants are invited to meet at 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Bear Brook Road and Winthrop Way. Winthrop Way is the closest street in the Estates of Princeton Junction to Alexander Road. Please park on Devonshire Drive, just off Winthrop Way.
Past WalksPrinceton-Hightstown Road/Cranbury Road/Wallace Road intersection, Tuesday, October 9, 2007, RecommendationsOn October 9, 2007 during the evening rush hour, over thirty West Windsor residents, including four members of Township Council, took part in an educational look at the intersection of Cranbury-Wallace and Princeton-Highstown Roads. The walk was organized by the West Windsor Bicycle and Pedestrian Alliance (WWBPA) and was part of a series of public outreach walks, "West Windsor Walks," to examine conditions for pedestrians and bicyclists on local roads.
