  5. Main topic of discussion:

What should be the process used by the Princeton Junction Neighborhoods’ Coalition to implement community-based planning for the design of the Princeton Junction village center on Route 571?

    • Are there any legal or related constraints on the role of the PJNC in this endeavor?
    • How best can we work with our local government to ensure that the planning is community-based?
    • Do we need a moratorium on development pending completion of a village center plan? If so, how is this achieved?
    • What do the 1998 Amendments to the existing Master Plan say about creating a village center?
    • What examples do we have from past community-based planning, either in West Windsor or in other towns, that could be used as we move forward?
    • What would this planning process really look like?
