The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization, encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
Founded in 1932, the Princeton Area League has members from Princeton, Montgomery, Rocky Hill, West Windsor, Plainsboro, South Brunswick, and Kendall Park.
Local League activities include: Voter Guide, candidate forums, voter registration, community/voter educational forums, observing municipal meetings, action toward 2007-2009 priorities.
